Meet The Doctors
DR. DEREK HARUTA
Dr. Haruta graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1983 following his undergraduate work at Western obtaining an Honours BSc. degree in Microbiology and Immunology. He began his dental career in Hornepayne, a community in Northern Ontario and one year later started his practice in St. Thomas in 1984.
Dr. Haruta incorporates the additional training and his experience to provide dental services in a comprehensive, relaxed and pain free manner. Dr. Haruta's goal is to provide comprehensive care and incorporate a health focused preventative dentistry program to ensure that the results produce a healthy and great looking smile.
DR. NATALIE LONGAY
A native of Windsor, Ontario, Dr. Natalie Longay is a returning member of the St. Thomas community. Having graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2011 with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree, majoring in Anatomy & Cell Biology and Medical Sciences. She continued her education at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio graduating in 2015.
Throughout her education, Dr. Longay was an active member in the community, as well as student branches of the ADA and ODA participating in outreach programs to provide care to under-served areas of Cleveland as well as local children who might not have access to required care.
Dr. Longay is looking forward to expanding her skills while practicing with Dr. Haruta to better serve the people of St. Thomas.
